“ Had passed by a few times and decided today to stop. So worth it. Great service and delicious food. Had the chorizo burrito and a horchata both were very tasty. Will definitely be back with my family. Gracias a todo..la comida es muy delicioso y un salsa verde es muy Bueno. ”
“ This is the first time I've heard of this place. Clau's and Chui's cocina was very clean and a good atmosphere. Ariana provided great customer service and recommendations. I got the following item and it was amazing Torta de chilaquiles ”
“ Went here to get some Mexican food! I ordered their birria tacos which was delish! Hubby ordered their carne asada fries which was ok. We also ordered their horchata. Their interior feels like I'm somewhere else. Vibrant colors and festive! ”
“ Wow, impressive. Came here because we were in the area and did take out. So delicious!! Burrito was awesome, carne asada was nice and soft and tasty. Burria tacos had lots of flavor. Lots of parking, lots of seats inside, with friendly staff! Definitely going back to try more of their dishes!! Pricy but it's Hawaii and it's worth it! ”
“ Wanted to try a New Mexican spot and Wahiawā has quite of few good ones but this place is fairly new. The prices were reasonable and cheaper than the other places and it's right at the beginning of Wahiawa so perfect. I ordered a chicken burrito. Nothing fancy, perfect ingredients and so tasty. You can ask for guacamole or sour cream on the side for $2 extra but to be honest you don't need it. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cheerful and upbeat. I should have asked if it's BYOB. You won't be disappointed with this place and the menu won't overwhelm you. I'll be back! ”
“ #2 of 52 (trying a new restaurant once a week) Been meaning to try this place for a while but between the really good and really bad reviews I've been hesitant. However we decided to give it a try and oh so glad we did. We went today, 13 Jan, and got there a little after they opened. Not busy at that time. The menu is on the wall above the serving window and honestly it's hard to read because it's not close and the font is not big. They would really benefit from a bigger menu or some printed ones available at the counter. We finally settled on our choices. I ordered the birria tacos ($16). It comes with a mild or hot sauce and I went with hot. I also ordered a side of beans ($4). My guy ordered a Carne asada chalupa ($7) and an al pastor taco ($5). We opted for a fountain drink ($3) that we discovered came in the smallest cup I've ever seen. They did have a variety of bottles drinks too. We took a seat and about 10 minutes later our food arrived. After the necessary pictures we dug in. Birria tacos - tortilla shells had a nice crunch to them. Not super crunchy but they held up nicely with the consomme. Cheesy and meaty and flavorful. Hot sauce is hot but it was good! I really enjoyed them. Beans - really good flavor. Gordita - my guy said the bread to meat ratio was not good. Too much bread and not enough meat. He ended up removing one of the pieces. He said the meat was tough and not a lot of flavor. Came with a green salsa that I loved and was so fresh. Taco - his favorite meat on a taco is al pastor and he is really picky about it. He said this al pastor was very good. He said it had the perfect pineapple flavor with the meat. He even said he wished he'd gotten another taco instead of the gordita. Ha! As we ate we agreed we may have finally found good Mexican food close to home. By the time we left all the tables in the front area were full. We'll definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. ”
“ Overall the food was good. Prices are kinda high for what you get. We ordered a torta , 3 tacos, chips and salad, and guacamole. The torta was good but had little meat, tacos had a good flavor, the salsa and guacamole were really good. Plenty of seating inside. Getting in and out of the parking can be tricky. Service was friendly. For the options of Mexican food on island, this is a decent place to try. ”
